About Our Lip Fillers
Lip fillers are one of the most requested aesthetic treatments in the UK. Here at Infallible our focus is on balance, proportions and natural results. Whilst we appreciate a luscious pout, we believe lips can be full and plump without looking obviously ‘done’.
Filling the lips is an art. At Infallible we use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to gently and naturally add volume to the lips, and surrounding area creating a natural fullness and enhanced shape and structure.
Using lip fillers following a full facial assessment, we can not only increase volume, but restore balance and proportion to the face, even out any lip asymmetry and help smooth smokers lines leaving the lips looking fresh and youthful.

Lip fillers, also known as lip augmentation or lip injections, are a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the size, shape, and fullness of the lips. The primary substance used in these injections is typically a gel-like dermal filler made from various materials, such as hyaluronic acid (HA) or, less commonly, collagen or calcium hydroxylapatite.
Hyaluronic acid is the most widely used filler for lip augmentation because it is a natural substance found in the body that helps retain moisture and adds volume. When injected into the lips, hyaluronic acid attracts water, plumping up the lips and creating a fuller appearance.
The procedure for lip fillers is relatively simple and typically takes around 15 to 30 minutes. Before the injections, a topical numbing cream or a local anesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort. The filler is then injected into specific areas of the lips to achieve the desired shape and volume.
The results of lip fillers are noticeable immediately after the procedure, though there might be some initial swelling and bruising, which will subside within a few days. The effects of lip fillers are not permanent and usually last between 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filler used and individual factors like metabolism.
It’s important to have lip fillers administered by a trained and licensed medical professional, such as a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon, to ensure safety and achieve natural-looking results. An experienced injector will take into consideration the patient’s facial anatomy, lip shape, and personal preferences to create a balanced and aesthetically pleasing outcome.
Lip fillers can be used for various purposes, including:
Lip plumping: Increasing the size and volume of thin or flat lips to create a fuller appearance.
Lip contouring: Enhancing the definition and shape of the lips, such as improving the Cupid’s bow or defining the vermillion border.
Correcting asymmetry: Balancing out uneven lips by injecting filler in specific areas.
Reversing age-related volume loss: Restoring lost volume in the lips due to aging.
